It's just a battle of which is more important, fame for entertaining, or fame for furthering science, seeking peace, or writing something that has "opened eyes" or similar. Sure some films can be real eye openers as well, but the first job of films nominated for an Oscar is to entertain, and always will be.

Lysandro, Nobel prize is a lie, it's noting but a political aid, every time a country seems to be getting messy(with inner disturbs or a threat to a near country) they happen to get a Nobel price on an area, for example a year back a country on south america was about to get into a "revolution" then a month later a woman from said country won a literature Nobel prize, the country was happy, and distracted, the disturbs stopped allowing authorities to capture "the revels". So yeah, both are kinda meaningless in the end.....
