When my friends and I play, let's just say we aren't friends for that time frame. Words that shouldn't be said are said. We treat that game as if we were actually trying to conquer the world. I was unstoppable when I owned Australia, and when it came down to my last man in Iraq (or Iran, I forget) vs everyone else around me I felt like Leonidus at the hot gates. Their numbers counted for nothing.

I don't know about Risk, but you could play so badly in Monopoly that you'd loose all of your money within the first half hour. And you'd be getting better at getting worse so the game won't be too long after some time. Unless you want it to.
