no, and diabetics could still be brought into the military in certain roles, or if the war was going particularly badly, you'd just get thrown at the enemy

I'm too light for the army - and I wouldn't go anyway because of ethical, religious (fifth commandment!) and personal reasons. So, fuck the army we want peace!

@The Dipshit above me, (Markus) FUCK YOU. That is an insanely ignorant thing to say retard. I happen to know and known men and women who have sacrificed themselves to protect your sorry excuse for a human ass. My Father is currently in Afghanistan fighting this war that you're just to damned pussy to fight. As a famous Cleric once said (During the Crusades), "A world without war...is a war without humanity." Now hows about you quit flaunting your shitty opinions in places you don't belong and go find something productive. Like kill yourself and free up some oxygen for some real men. (P.S Military Draft means you are FORCED to go. And you will be there until the war is over. Idiot)

@Markus Hey man, don't worry bout what the dipshit Below you said. He's obviously not aware that our country has this thing called the fisrt amendment, and under it you are allowed to have whatever opinion, or religious view, or any other belief that you want. If you want to speak your opinion, go ahead. And The dude below you obiously doesn't know that it's fucking rude to openly declare that someone who is voicing their opinion is a pussy. Therefore, he can suck his dick. I know a guy just like him in my Gov class, he's so stuck up and full of himself that he will shut us down before we even get a chance to speak. Just ignore his ignorant ass. BTW ignorance is a choice...

As someone who's choosing to join the military hopefuly for more than two years, I don't think you guys are really taking into consideration, then again. I'm Canadian and we are often deployed in other countries as peacekeepers to supply and reinforce, train goverment soldiers etc. but we do occasional go in with US forces.

I think it would be good to have it mandatory at 18 because it starts everyone in the workforce, with some strict rules to whip everybody into shape if they had shitty parents. But since America goes to war for shit it doesn't need to and people have free will, that's never going to happen.

draft, because according to the constitution u can refuse to fight and take the oath and no matter how much they bully u, at they have to let u leave at the end of the day. (in the U.S. that is.)

    • 2

      Casey Burns

your false since many supreme court cases affirm that the government can draft you into the military, the only chance you have is if you have a disability or have CO status and you need to be lucky to get that.

No matter what, you would have to serve, military dont give a damn. Draftees have a higher chance of dying because they arent as well trained as volunteers, and you'd just get thrown wherever, most likely as infantry. Mandatory service, you could sign an agreement with the Guard, Reserve, whoever to join in a particular branch
