I worked at a KFC for a couple months. From my time there, I was mildly impressed. I thought KFC was horrible all around when it came to food and food prep, but we had an actual chef in the back (the only one allowed to touch the chicken before it was fried/grilled) and most of the ingredients, while not always the freshest, weren't horrible. Much better than Taco Bell.
