While the debate is rather deep, and intriguing I'd rather see how life began. It would shut up a lot of people.
deathpwnie
It's not how life began, it's how civilization began, which is simple: people started living together in large numbers and permanent dwellings.
Rythmbot
Yeah, dude. You want to know how civilization was created? Go to Wikipedia.
ossmosse
Deathpwine, you just made me realise I chose the wrong answer :/
DudeGuy
It would be boring as shit, because it took a shitton of years, of slow, building evolution of pack living.
Pixilatedpwnage
Being an atheist I feel that seeing how life was created would just be like someone telling me something I already know
Jacob
Pixilatedpwnage, you realize that every person of every belief shares that particular belief. Besides agnostics I guess.
Freq-Sho
Well deathpwnie when similar organisms were created and grouped together for survival that was that start of life and civilization. And Rythm that's what we Think happened and not fact.
Jerry Jerryson
FUCK. Wrong answer.
Pat Kr
civilization arose when people began locking up the food supply. go anywhere in the world where there is what we call " civilization " and you'll see its a recurring theme.
Josh
If you think that it would shut people up, you clearly haven't met these 'people'.....
Advance
But the creation of civilization is a billion times nicer and more heartwarming to see than the collapse of it. So you sadistic bastards would rather see thousands of people getting killed and buildings destroyed and general mayhem than a group of people working together and solving problems and learning to become friends? Yeah, when you put it that way, it seems like you made the wrong choice.
✞α†γἇиа ✌
amen to that
Niker107
I'd know if there's a god, because the bible says that god created everything, but I already know that somehow we're gonna die, maybe the sun will burnout, maybe we'll collide with an asteroid, but I think it's cooler to know how a civilization was created.

If you choose red you can prepare if needed

Honestly my first thought was to grab snacks. *Nuke goes off* Oooh. *BOOOOM* Aww.

Actually DudeGuy, the ending of a civilization could also take a long time.
whatuppep
ummm god created every thing btw
33rpm
@whatuppep but how?
FredAlv
We already know how life began. Science and biological studies have shown us how the universe has led to the birth of Tellus for a course of 13.8 billion years, then how Tellus developed into a feasible planet for functioning organisms.
Wopper
deathpwine is right.
Henry McPherson
But you wouldn't have any proof and therefor people may not believe you
wartpig
@Advance. yes actually i would like to see buildings collapse and millions die. humans are a cancer
Lasht Night
*cough* Not god *cough*

it would probably be something like "Revolution" (for anyone who hasent seen that show its all electricity is gone *so not internet!*)
FinMagotti
I chose the blue answer because if the red's answer is told to people it would cause havoc and panic all across the globe
Jake Morgan
Noone would believe you. Someone claimed to know that god created it all and still people argue. You can never silence people.

See the beginning of it all. Giant balls of lava and fire in space, dinosaurs fighting each other, having the infinite knowledge of the world that can be used to solve how the world will end with pristine accuracy
Dylan Skyrider
Did it ever occur to people that "end of civilization" doesn't mean a cataclysm. But civilization doesn't apply to only humans. In this example, it does. It could simply mean that human's slowly started to depopulate instead of overpopulating. It doesn't have to be sudden and horrifying.
Jezza
The whole universe was in a hot dense mesh nearly 14 billion years ago until explanation started wake, bla bla bla, bal, bla and it all started with a Big Bang, BANG.
Marianne April Salinas
omfg. CIVILIZATION. not LIFE.
TheTobor2000
I must agree with you; it would shut a lot of STUPID people up like those idiots who thought the world was gonna end in 2012.
kangcool09
knowing what created us or if god is real is truly better then seeing people sufffer at the end.

Seeing that the Apocalypse has had an Apocalypse at the end of civilization would not be fun, and you couldn't enjoy the rest of your life, knowing what is coming up.

Exactly jforrestq. My thoughts EXACTLY.

*egh eehhm.... "science" lied to you duhn duhn duuuuhn oh wait nvm i forgot "civilization" is still brainwashed... sorry... continue

the end of civilization would also answer the other one
William Sacchi
Same.
Turtle
"You have no impact and cannot play a role. This is just an observation. Who knows if anyone will believe you" Although I would like to see how the world would begin. Knowing how we end is pretty cool. Also whether or not you see the end or beginning it could pretty much shut up anyone.
GrimDerivative
what if when you saw what created civilization and accidentally killed it and we all just saw you end civilization.
Sam
I want to change my answer because if I saw how civilization ended I would be able to stop it
luci
scientists already know what started it so why not find out something they dont
chaboy33
We already know how it starte!
Random...
Nobody would really belive
Awp_God
It said civilization not life in general and we have a basic idea about that but we will never know what actually ends up ending civilization until it happens
Deadpool
I could get ready for the end of civilization. If its zombies, by zombie equitment. If its nucleur warfare, get a fallout shelter. If its by the end of the government, get out of the country
JFilms
@Ryhtmbot , Wikipedia sucks though, people can put whatever they want, just google it.

So very true, but I'm extremely interested in how we go out, how our grand and terrible existence as a race ends.... It's both a destructive impulse and a curiosity...
Hunter
I want to be alive at the end of civilization, because according to my belief system, the end is gonna be AWESOME
Your mom
I chose watch because the end is a big "boom".
Jaxz
ookay just watch how ya gonna die then simple
GABY
i wanna be that crazy person that goes on the streets and says "THEY'RE COMING!!"
TRIXIESTAR
@Rythmbot Wikipedia is produced by people who are just like you and I. So I wouldn't rely too heavily on it's "facts". Still seeing what will bring modern society to it's collapse would be terrifyingly awesome. I'm just obsessed with chaos and devastation.

Liam Carver
well it would be cool for red cuz if we see wut could end us we could find a way to stop it and save humanity
Rosimai
Why would you want to see something that you can't change, it doesn't say anything about how our species will turn out in the end. There might not even be a collapse, but on a planet where everything is limited, there will be a high likability that there will be.
AdventureReagam
if you told someone people would think you were awesomely smart (you know after civilzation ends which kinda destroyz the point but oh well) also you could make and epic book or movie on that
DeathBringer
Liam Carver It said we cannot play a role in stopping it, actually so...
I'mMLGBruh
I think seeing WHAT ends the civilization is better because even though your friends or family won't believe you, people will see it for themselves. Plus,in 2013 the world will end by a meteor. So I think we all will know that soon.
sandman_gaming
I can warn everyone the fate that the world has!

JForrestQ; Dude God created the earth it's in the Bible in Genesis 1:1 "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." And Most people know that the bible is true if you don't believe me then that's your fault but I'll be praying for all of you believers or nonbelievers.
I'm a rad unicorn
I too agree. I don't belive in god like my mom. it'll really make them shut up about god. its very overwhelming when people talk about god. not to be mean also, some of the 10 commandments are stupid. sorry, it had to be said.
MrfreshAsian
Midnight flow
@I'm a rad unicorn, honestly its insulting to God not to us. I know it might be overwhelming but look here you'd have to end up knowing one way or another right? .. Basically he's eternal and waited upon that same moment to create everything, and the 10 commandments are moral laws promising you to heaven. Noone though can follow them because like- have you lied? etc. maybe maybe not but everyone would break his commandments. So instead God sent his only son JESUS to DIE on the cross for everyone and by believeing in him he can save us. (John 3:16)
chuck216
just knowing would be enough. even if you couldn't tell anyone
GrimDerivative
but what if seeing the beginning caused the end?
rafanosauro
so br e brazil
Kat Le Cat
Seeing the beginning= You understanding why the civilization was created, why, how and when, but not knowing what ends. Plus, what if seeing the beginning causes the end?!?!?
Cait
i wouldnt want to know how civilization ended because then i'd constantly be waiting for it to happen around every corner and the anticipation would kill me.
CptHomer
Well if you knew it would end in 200.000.000 years? I don't think so...
Wopper
you wouldn't know when it ended because the question says "how"
Kat Le Cat
Cait, I thought the same thing. But it says "how", and what if it's A MILLLLLLLLLLLLLION YEARS AWAY!
Midnight flow
if anyone reads this even though its 2022 =-= I say the day is coming soon even if you don't know for certain.. Just believe.. that- Jesus- will- grant- you- heaven- if- believe- in- him-

reminds me of the skyfall theme song. BTW, has anyone else noticed that the lyrics have nothing to do with the story. It's still the best part of the movie though
Midnight flow
then why don't end it yoursel- shuddup me, myself and I
Derpina
The knowledge of who created civilization is useless if there's no civilization left
Yumi_27
Yeah, If you know what's will end civilization then you can try to prevent it.
___Wolfz___
I could stop civilization from ending if I could see how it ends (but I already know because once artificial intelegence is invented it will eventualy become smarter than us and overcome us and turn us all into slaves and eventualy kill us all) sorry for bad grammr
Donny Em
THE REAPERS DESTROY CIVILIZATION!

You are lovely.
lemon!?
i love how you compliment people

Clearly the way we are heading now is an indicator to us ending with our own destruction...
Kat Le Cat
"trump" and "hillary"
ELHC
it would be interesting to see the look on most people's faces when they realize they are the reason civilization ended
FredAlv
It's actually a difficult question. The problem is that as time goes along, earth is becoming less inhabitable - for humans at least. It's not certain whether we'll create our own death or we'll be wiped out naturally, only to be replaced by other species which can function under other circumstances.
Midnight flow

that's not the right attitude! You can get hold of some nukes if you put your mind to it!
ColourfulGraffiti
Always wanted to know how civilization began.
Shane Tenney
Why not see what started it, if you probably won't be around for the end?
Olivia BeepBoop Evan
you can't change the past but you could change the future. hypothetically.
Bevan Dennill
If we knew how we were created, then we could stop arguing about pointless bullshit and focus on becoming a better species. Imagine that, no terrorist or money being wasted on shit or people being judged from religious stereotypes. It doesn't matter how we end anyway, because it will most likely be us killing ourselves.
Drey
I totally agree and had the same thoughts like seriously though people need to be concentrating on what is going to happen in the future rather than waste time on pointless shit thanks for the comment
mustycheeze
Its how civilization was created. Not how people were.
CrabbyZain
i wanna see how it was made, i already know how its going to end..
FredAlv
Isn't this supposed to be opposite? We don't know how it's going to end, because you can't foresee the dimension we live in, whilst on the other side, biology and science has told us how Tellus developed as a result of the expanding universe for the past 13.8 billion years. Then the first organisms were created, and the civilization - which is actually the question - started somewhere in Africa with the first human being arising .
OhGodWhy
Debate, nuclear war, or California splitting off from the continent to hang with Hawaii. Alaska can come too.
OhGodWhy
Why did I say debate? I meant the sun.
Hobbsbird
No, I think you meant Debate
TheGuyWhoHasName
they are loads of an end population SUCH AS: an astroid impact, an nuclear war, global warming, worldwide earthquake, worldwide drought, mega tsunami
drizzy
It would be interesting either way
anator3000
If you see how civilization ends then you could prevent it. Also bring a camera for proof
William
If u know how everything was created then we know what to believe when we die so say it's God (Christan) we know to believe him and go to heaven so it's matter of your afterlife that's why I would pick this 1
noobynumbskins
it wasn't "see how everything was created", it's "see "humans" (or anything else) created CIVILIZATION", which is not everything in the universe

way cooler to jump into the future.

humans created civilization, we know that much, and history documentaries accurately predict the rest
Ethan
I'm assuming this is covering the time frame, so if I know when, then I can either not worry at all, or do all of the cool shit that I've always wanted to do.

We already have a pretty good idea of how civilization formed -- if I'm curios about the details, there are probably 100,000 history and anthropology books to choose from. How it ends I'm more curious about.
Lily
Dude I know that God created the earth it's in the Bible in Genesis 1:1 "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." And Most people know that the bible is true if you don't believe me then that's your fault but I'll be praying for all of you believers or nonbelievers. also the bible talks about how the world will end so I know alittle bit of both and if you don't believe me well then maybe god will speak to your heart in some other way but i'm just here to share my beliefs and my thoughts and help who ever will listen to me.

You were supposed to decimate humanity by 2037 this is 2063! Future me: Well you see Younger me the government started to scrutinize on me so i had to slow things down a touch. Present me: I see my point how's the family doing? Future me: In the outer reaches of space heading for the closest inhabitable planet with enough data to jump start a thousand earths.
