Terms of Service

Last updated June 23, 2026

Using Either

Either (either.io) is a public would-you-rather game. By using the service — creating an account, voting, saving questions, submitting prompts, or posting comments — you agree to use Either responsibly and to follow these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Either.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Either, and we ask you to confirm this when you sign up. If you are under 13, please do not use the service.

Accounts

You are responsible for your account and for activity that happens through it. Keep your sign-in information secure, use accurate account information, and do not impersonate another person or try to access an account that is not yours. You may use Either as a guest without an account; some features require signing in.

User content

You are responsible for the questions, comments, usernames, and other content you submit. You should only post content you have the right to share. You keep ownership of your content, and you grant Either a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, moderate, reproduce, and distribute that content as needed to operate and promote the service. Submitted questions are reviewed before they appear in the public feed, and we do not guarantee that any submission will be published.

Content standards

We reserve the right to remove, hide, limit, reject, or otherwise moderate content and comments that do not meet basic public content standards. This includes harassment, bullying, threats, hate, spam, illegal content, sexual content involving minors, attempts to exploit or disrupt the service, and other abusive or unsafe behavior. To report content, email abuse@either.io.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service: don't break the law, infringe others' rights, scrape or overload the service, interfere with its security, manipulate votes or rankings, or use automated means to access Either except as we expressly allow.

Intellectual property

Either and its name, design, and software are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. If you believe content on Either infringes your copyright, contact us at abuse@either.io with enough detail to identify the work and the material in question.

Service changes and termination

Either may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service at any time. We may also limit, suspend, or terminate access to accounts or content when needed to protect users, enforce these terms, comply with the law, or keep the service running. You may stop using Either and delete your account at any time.

No warranties

Either is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise that the service will always be available, error-free, secure, or that submitted content will remain available forever.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Either and the people who operate it will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, content, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and may ask you to review and accept the updated terms the next time you use the service.
